The Brand & Web Design Process
A collaborative, strategic design process for creative professionals.
My process is designed to deliver beautiful, effective results without long timelines. I work with one client at a time, which means your project receives my full attention from start to finish. This means you can launch sooner and move forward with confidence.
How it works
From the first conversation to your launch day, each step builds on the last, creating a rhythm that feels productive and purposeful.
Step I: Discovery Call
We start with a 15-minute Discovery Call to talk through your goals, challenges, and what you’re looking for. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, discuss timelines and priorities, and determine if we’re the right fit to work together.
Step II: Brand Master Plan
Finally get clarity on how to market and grow your business so you can move past the DIY, trial-and-error approach.
Through a guided, in-depth interview, I learn everything about your business—where you are, where you’ve been, and where you want to go. From there, I create your Brand Master Plan: a comprehensive plan outlining your brand and website opportunities, recommended positioning, and a clear actions for achieving your goals.
Your Brand Master Plan is yours to keep. You can implement it independently or hire Afternoon Creative to bring it to life through a Design-Build project.
Investment: $450 (credited toward any Design-Build package)
Step III: Design-Build
With the groundwork in place, we move into the creative phase, where your brand and website begin to take shape in just 2–3 days.
Depending on your goals, I’ll recommend one of three Design-Build packages (Explore Brand & Web Packages).
Each project is customized for your business and may include:
- Visual identity and logo design
- Brand color palette and typography system
- Creative direction and imagery guidelines
- Website design and development
- Marketing materials, social templates, and launch assets
We’ll align calendars and schedule 2–3 focused delivery days for design reviews. During these sessions, you’ll see your brand and website come to life in real time.
The result: a cohesive, elevated brand and website that look beautiful and work hard for your business.
Step IV: Launch & Beyond
Once your site is live, I’ll train you on how to use it so you feel confident managing small updates on your own.
If you’d prefer continued design support, Afternoon Creative offers Dedicated Design Days for ongoing updates, new pages, or branded marketing materials, so your brand can continue to evolve seamlessly as you grow.
