Avery Art is the creative practice of artist Lauren Avery Hutton, known for bold, expressive work inspired by nature, movement, and emotion. Her paintings are deeply felt and visually striking—pieces that hold their own in a space and bring a sense of energy and story to the rooms they live in. After years of exhibiting internationally, Lauren relocated to New England and was ready to thoughtfully reposition her brand for this next chapter.

Afternoon Creative partnered with Avery Art to create a brand and website that felt as elevated and intentional as the work itself. The focus was not just on aesthetics, but on clarity—clearly communicating Lauren’s voice, her point of view, and the value of her work to interior designers, collectors, and curators alike. We wanted the brand to feel confident and approachable, expressive yet refined, and equally at home in a gallery setting or a beautifully designed residence.

Together, we developed a cohesive visual identity, a custom Squarespace website, and supporting signage and point-of-sale materials that translate the art seamlessly across digital and in-person touchpoints. Clean layouts, thoughtful pacing, and a strong emphasis on scale, color, and application within real spaces make it easy for designers to understand the work, imagine it within their projects, and confidently share it with clients. The result is a brand presence that feels grounded, editorial, and artful—one that supports Avery Art’s continued growth while allowing the work to remain the star.

“Thank you so much for your help in getting my business up to the next level!! I am ‘over the moon’ about this website – what you have created is absolutely critical to my business success! REALLY FABULOUS.”

Brand identity + positioning strategy

We worked closely with Avery Art to clarify brand positioning within the interior design and fine art space, defining a visual and strategic direction that felt expressive yet composed. The resulting identity balances warmth and confidence, allowing the artwork to feel distinctive while integrating seamlessly into curated, design-forward environments.

Website design + build

The website was designed and built in Squarespace with interior designers in mind—prioritizing clean layouts, intuitive navigation, and thoughtful pacing throughout. The structure highlights scale, color, and context, making it easy to explore the work, understand its application within real spaces, and share selections confidently with clients.

Signage + point of sale support

To support in-person experiences, we designed signage and point-of-sale materials that extend the brand beyond the screen. Each piece was created to feel cohesive with the digital presence while elevating gallery events, art tours, and studio interactions with a refined, professional touch.
